Science as a course has been popular among students in 11th and 12th. Students take up this subject thinking that this would provide them with more career prospects and a better pay package. After doing science, people usually go for Medical or Engineering and those who aren't interested in both opt for BSc in some course. Now in this competitive Indian scenerio, each student always aspires to go for the best, may be St. Stephens or a Ramjas but not everyone has such luck and marks to get into those colleges. Usually when students don't get good marks in Science, they choose a course from Arts or opt for BCom Hons or even worst they drop a year. So guys let me just tell you, if you don't have enough marks to get into the top colleges don't be disheartened because there are some really great science colleges which are underrated.

The top 10 underrated Science colleges in Delhi are :-

 

 1) One of the first underrated science college is Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women. This is a college that offers course of Applied Sciences for Women. The college is located in Vasundhara Enclave and its accredited by NAAC with "A" grade. The courses offered are - BSc (H)Electronics, BSc(H)Instrumentation, BSc(H)Food Technology, etc.

 

 

2) Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is another college that can be added in the top 10 underrated science colleges. BCAS located in Dwarka offers its students courses such as BSc(H)Polymer Science, BSc(H)Biomedical Science, BSc(H)Microbiology, etc.

 

 

3) The third college that deserves to be in this list is Ram Lal Anand College. This college is a part of South Campus and the courses that it offers is B.Sc(H) Geology, B.Sc(H) Statistics, B.Sc(H) Microbiology and B.Sc (H) Computer Science

 

 

4) Shivaji College, an off - campus college located in Raja Garden is another underrated science college. The courses that it provides are BSc(H)Biochemistry, BSc(H)Botany, BSc(H)Zoology, BSc Life Sciences, etc.

 

 

5) Dyal Singh College is another great college that has been underrated. It has a great faculty and offers you with courses such as BSc(H)Botany, BSc(H)Zoology, BSc(H)Chemistry, BSc(H)Mathematics and BSc(H)Physics

 

 

6) Zakir Hussain College is another college that is underrated. It offers courses such as BSc(H)Electronics, BSc Physical Sciences, etc.

 

 

7) The next college that deserves to be in this list is Deshbandhu College. It is good college with a great faculty that offers courses such as BSc Industrial Chemistry, BSc Physical Science Computer Science, BSc (H) Bio - Chemistry.

 

 

8) Kalindi College is another great girls college that has been underrated. An off - campus college it offers you courses like BTech (Computer Sciences), BSc (Prog) Life Sciences, BSc (Prog) Physical Sciences, etc.

 

 

9) P. G. D. A. V College is another college that deserves to be in this list. It offers it students courses such as BSc (Genl) Mathematics, BSc (H) Computer Science, etc and not only that it also offers you with a Postgraduation course of MSc (Mathematics)

 

 

10) The last college in this list is Lady Irwin College but it's just the last college in the top 10 college, there are many more colleges out there which aren't given much representation. Lady Irwin College has specialized courses for students interested in Home Science. It provides Undergraduated Courses, Post Graduate Course, PhD as well as Diploma Courses.
