The Second slot of CAT 2016 is over and this is what expersts and students have to report:
There were 100 questions in all the three section put together, 25 questions of them were of the non-MCQ type.
Read the analysis for sectional cut-offs and overall cut-offs.
The level of difficulty of the paper changed this year as compared to last year. Also, since every student is forced to spend 60 minutes each on the three areas, there is no scope for maximizing the scores by giving disproportionate time to any one strong area. Overall score of 150+ should fetch a student a 99%ile, this year.
