OVERVIEW OF THE TEST:

According to the experts and students who appeared for the CAT 2015 exam, the paper was moderate-to-difficult with DI-LR section being the toughest among the three sections.

There were 100 questions in all the three section put together, 28 questions of them were of the non-MCQ type.

Overall Analysis

CAT 2016paper, on the whole, was a relatively difficult as compared to the CAT 2015 paper. Also, since every student is forced to spend 60 minutes each on the three areas, there is no scope for maximizing the scores by giving disproportionate time to any one strong area.
